Can I come and see the build site?
Yes you can! The spectator area will be open beginning Monday, September 13, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and continuing throughout the build. Please prepare for long periods of standing. Wear closed toe, comfortable shoes and long pants (no shorts allowed on site). On sunny days, remember to apply sunscreen. Finally, make sure that you hydrate with water often. Click here for directions and parking area for Spectators.

Will there be free parking?
Yes! Spectators should park at the stadium parking area next to Antioch Middle School (5050 Blue Hole Road, Antioch, TN). Please follow the signs for Spectator Parking. Transportation will be provided to the build site. Click here for directions and parking area for Spectators.

Will there be handicap accessible parking?
If you need handicap accessibility, we ask that you drive up to the check-in site and drop off the individual and then park your car in the designated parking area.

Are children allowed?
If you are a volunteer, we ask that you do not bring children under the age of 18 to the build site for safety reasons. If you are a spectator, please take in consideration that this is a standing room only – no seats available – and the weather may be very hot. Please use your best judgment.

Can I get autographs?
Ty, his design team, and all the volunteers are working very hard to make sure the build is completed in time for the scheduled reveal. There may be opportunities for autographs. However, we cannot guarantee any autograph opportunities.

Can I bring a sign?
You can certainly bring a sign to encourage all the volunteers and construction workers! They deserve all the credit for lending us their time and expertise to help complete this build in one week. Your signs would be very appreciated. Keep them positive, short, and visible from a distance.

Is smoking allowed?
There will be no smoking allowed. This is a live construction site and we need to take every precaution to make it a safe environment for everyone involved.

Will cameras and video cameras be allowed?
You are more than welcome to bring cameras and video cameras –and use them—in the spectator area. We also will be posting photos daily to this Website during the build so be sure to check back regularly for updates!

Can I bring food?
We certainly don’t mind you bringing food to the build site. If it is a particularly hot and humid day, please remember to drink lots of water. Also, remember that we are guests in this build area. People live here and we need to be respectful of that. We are guests in this neighborhood, so please be sure to throw any garbage away in the proper receptacles.

Will spectators be allowed if the weather is bad?
The construction will go on even it if storms! Please use your good judgment when deciding to come down and visit. Umbrellas are allowed, but unfortunately, there will not be a covered area for spectators.

Will there be bathrooms?
Yes there will be nearby bathroom portables available for you.

Will there be paramedics for emergencies?
Yes. In case of an emergency, please look for the paramedics, or a staff volunteer (in a navy polo shirt), and ask for assistance. If it is an urgent matter, please do not wait for assistance, call 911.

Thank you for your interest and support!
